The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

After teaching second and third graders for 25 years, I retired in 1998. My husband, Fred, retired at the same time from General Electric. We are loving our retirement! We travel a lot to visit family and friends scattered across the country. We are involved in our church and community. We have one son who is a pilot for Atlantic Southeast Airlines. He and his wife, along with our only grandchild, live south of Atlanta. One of the perks of being his parents is that we get to fly free! We take advantage of that as much as we can, but we love our road trips, too. We have fond memories of Penn State. We were married before we were students there and lived in a trailer park. I taught at Coeburn El. School and worked on my M.Ed while Fred was getting his Engineering degree. We attended all of the football games and loved that. We continue to follow the Nittany Lions and wear our Penn State apparel proudly wherever we travel.
